The First Flying Car Is 100% Electric And Has Been Cleared For Takeoff By The FAA

Under experimental status, the first flying electric car has officially been cleared for take off. Alef Aeronautics' 'Model A' has a driving range of 200 miles, a flight range of 110 miles, and will cost about $300,000.

The vehicle will of course need to meet National Highway and Traffic Safety Administration safety standards before taking flight, but the company plans to start delivering cars by late 2025.
