NY Passes 'SLEEP Act' To Curb Loud Souped-Up Vehicles

As a follow-up to my June 28th blog post, NY recently passed the ‘SLEEP Act” to help curb loud, souped-up vehicles.

If signed, sales or installations of devices to increase the sound of a muffler on a motor vehicle will be prohibited and fines will be increased from $150 to $1,000.
